Management education in India follows two main shapes: a 3-year BBA / BMS undergraduate degree (often via CUET, IPMAT or institute-specific tests like NPAT, SET, CHRIST) followed by an MBA via CAT/XAT/NMAT/CMAT/MAH-CET, or 5-year integrated programmes (IPM at IIMs Indore/Rohtak/Ranchi/Jammu/Bodhgaya/Visakhapatnam, IIM Mumbai's IPM, ISBM, etc.).
Real-world outcomes range from consulting, FMCG sales, banking and investment to product management, supply chain and entrepreneurship. IIM Ahmedabad is one of the world's leading business schools and is in Gujarat itself — but a strong undergraduate from Nirma, MICA or PDPU is also a credible launchpad.
